I didn’t get to attend the big Society for News Design conference in Las Vegas earlier this month. Fortunately, Ryan Sholin has posted his slides from a presentation he gave here. Even without the full text, there’s some good basic notions to thing about as you go through your day:

It’s not very fancy. But it always feels good to be learning and try to new things. And if you feel like your newsroom is already working at capacity, finding simple, easy things like this that you can squeeze into your routine is key to transforming your newsroom, even if it’s a baby step.
